Debby, I just got back from my cabin and everything worked out as planned. The bunk beds were delivered right in time for me to have them put together and made up before our arrival. They look fantastic! It was a real pleasure working with you and I really appreciate your diligence in making sure that everything worked out according to plan! Unfortunately, in our world today, some people we deal with are not near as reliable and professional as the should be. I will recommend your business every chance I get. Please keep my info as I plan on purchasing more furniture from you to furnish our cabin as soon as cash flow allows!!! Best regards, John"

why us

Pine: the color difference between the pine and white cedar that we use is barely noticeable, however white cedar log furniture tends to have a few more knots. We use a White Pine and a Northern White Cedar. Both woods are very similar in appearance and the whites of the two blend together very nicely.

White Cedar: a light-colored wood, very similar to pine in color. Many of our customers furnish their rustic homes with a mixture of pine and white cedar log furniture.

Red Cedar: is actually not cedar but rather a species of juniper.  Red cedar is a fine-grained wood pinkish brown wood that is very light yet durable.  It is very fragrant and is a deterrant to months so it is often used to line clothes drawers, but also makes beautiful and aromatic rustic log furniture.

Hickory: is a very strong, dense, shock resistant and dark brown bark-covered wood. Hickory wood’s combination strength, stiffness and hardness is not found in any other commercial wood. Our hickory log furniture is made upon order.

Aspen: is light and soft, but quite strong. Aspen trees which grow at high altitude often become gnarly and bent due to years of bearing heavy loads of snow. Log furniture made from these twisted aspen trees makes uniquely rustic furniture with its own character.

Difference between Pine and White Cedar: The main difference between the pine and cedar is that the cedar generally has more knots and a little more color here and there in the wood. Some of our log furniture is pine with cedar accents, some is 100% white cedar, and some is 100% pine. Many of our customers mix pine and cedar log furniture in the same room with very satisfactory results. When finished, the pine and cedar log furniture continues to match very well, just as they do in their unfinished state.
